Will you asept this rose?

Sometimes I wish it was socially acceptable to wear robes out in public...especially big white ones that have your husbands name monogrammed on them because they are kind of amazing. Sometimes your husband convinces you its a good idea to watch Breaking Bad so you do...and you cry every. single. episode...sometimes silently though so your husband doesn't think you're a big pansy. What can i say? I just feel so bad for that cute little old teacher- someone help the poor man! Sometimes you are emailing someone and your dog keeps dropping his toys on the keypad telling you to play with him and then sometimes he goes and lays down and starts chewing on his bone until sometimes its not his bone anymore but don't worry its just your Vera Bradley backpack....Thanks Murphy. Sometimes you know you are shopping too much when you become friends with the employees at the stores....and they recognize you. But then sometimes one of them hits on your man...right in front of you and is flirting with him but sometimes your man doesn't know how hot he is and he is just nice and all oblivious and you don't even get jealous because he's mine suckkkaaa. Sometimes the super bowl was super boring. Now you know how old some of these sometimes are huh? sometimes I made more food that necessary and sometimes you eat pulled pork for the next 4 days...whoops. But sometimes having a party for every event and holiday is SO necessary. Sometimes the flippin fog is not helping you be able to start your photography business! Annoying. Sometimes a decision to watch Sean and Catherine's Fairytale wedding at midnight may not be the best idea because sometimes you might wake up 10 minutes after you were supposed to leave for class the night day but then sometimes you get there in 8 minutes and you do not regret your decision one bit. Sometimes you refer to the one year anniversary of when your man asked you to be his girl as your "booversary" and you figure you'll just refer to it as that forever. Sometimes its kind of awkward when you lose your car in the parking lot and walk by it and then realized you walked by it but there are a group of people by it so sometimes you stand there until they leave... Sometimes when your hubby is gone you craft every day...but the outcome is pretty sweet! AH I am so excited about our home. It is SO perfect. Sometimes cough syrup is the new water, and being sick is a breeze when you get to take that heavenly stuff every couple hours. Sometimes people really don't believe you when you tell them that your husband likes the Bachelor just as much as you do...sometimes maybe even more...when he asks if you two are going to start it at the same time and watch it together when he's in Texas...he's too cute. Sometimes he does the BEST Juan Pablo impression and sometimes embarrassingly enough its kind of a turn on. Will you accept this rose? He says it all the time haha. SHH don't tell him I posted it. He's the best thing thats ever been mine :) 

Sometimes I dream about Pizza Factory breadsticks...guys its bad. and Sometimes I dream about doing switch leaps and then sometimes I try to do them because obv if I can do them in my dream I'm a pro and sometimes they look a little....uh different. And sometimes if I'm gonna be a Jazz dancer I have some work to do... Sometimes you worry that Lyle's friends are cooler than yours (well not ALL your friends- don't worry guys) Just some of them because sometimes they all come over to watch the Jazz game and some bring wives and everyone is seriously so chill and then sometimes the night ends with watching Baggage and the commentators...aka the buds crack me up. Sometimes most of your nights seem to end with baggage or youtube videos and you are wondering whats happening... Sometimes your niece can speak...like real words and sometimes its insane cause usually that chatterbox shouts words that aren't real and then all the sudden she speaks names and not just any name, MY NAME. Well, what my nieces and nephew call me. Sometimes I just wanna brag that it is the fourth word she ever spoke right after dada, baba and mama...yup, I'm kind of a big deal- ...although sometimes I secretly think she would totally say Lyle's if she could say L's because she adores him. But here's some proof! Sometimes I miss my babies more than anything always.

Sometimes you miss Hawaii and all but sometimes you know that it is a total vacation spot because you could never live there because sometimes this happens...me to a local "do you have a krispy Kreme or a Dunkin Donuts here? I have a really bad craving" Girl: "uhmm no, I think we do on another island though" sometimes that is not helpful girl. Nor did they have any real food places except a few in Waikiki because rice and shrimp surprisingly get old. Also sometimes beach hair is sexy for like a minute, or thats what they want you to believe in the magazines but you should see that stuff in real life cause that crap is not so fly...and finally sometimes i always would be obese because everything tastes better at the beach. everything. I swear I dont think I have ever tasted better cheetos in my life. For real guys. Sometimes tonight I convinced Lyle to go hang out with his friends (I know I'm awesome) and then I got all excited and decided to whip up some Chocolate Chip cookies and I strangely had a foreshadowing of me with kids and baking them treats for all their friends and I kinda liked it :) and I felt like a super cool wife and cant wait can wait to be the coolest mom ever.

Sometimes you know you're on birth control when a One Direction song makes you cry...or a holiday commercial for Dicks Sporting Goods or when you think you have gingivitis...sometimes this stuff is some crap...Sometimes Hide & Seek between Lyle and his nieces & nephew gets a little....creative haha

sometimes you have a gift card to Macaroni Grill and sometimes everything going great because you can color on the table...until sometimes someone breaks out in opera and then another and another and they are so close to your table that you start to feel uncomfortable and sometimes you ask your husband whats going on...?! We are never coming here again...sometimes you take two naps in one day and your realize that you need to get a life again...sometimes Murphy goes out back & gets lost in the snow because it is taller than he is and you really don't wanna have to potty train another dog so you have to go out and find him. Sometimes you brush shoulders with Jef Holm at Urban Outfitters and you get excited and debate following him but then you remember you have a hotter husband whose a foot taller and you're still kinda excited but not as excited as when you sometimes sit TWO BOXES DOWN from THOMAS S MONSON at the Jazz game and you know you two could totes be bffz because big Tom is a jazz fan. Talk about a famous people weekend....Sometimes last night you made chocolate fudge cupcakes and when you pull them out of the oven you decapitated half of them and when you tragically tell your man he laughs like it isn't a problem....even though sometimes the best part of the cupcakes are siting at the bottom of the oven. 

 Sometimes shower crayons are the best thing ever because you write cute love notes back and forth 

& then eventually they turn into things like this...

& then sometimes the hubs starts drawing things like this...and you don't know where you went wrong...

Sometimes Lyle and I are the type of people that go to Walmart on Black Friday...but sometimes its not even for the deals or anything cool but rather we are the type of people that think we can stroll in for some boxes and walk right out...but then we realize how dumb that is and walk out empty handed...Sometimes it is the cutest thing when your man brings you a piece of pie and he knows you dont really care for the crust so he scraped it off especially for you...even though sometimes it doesn't look the most appetizing. Sometimes a man in SLC sees your ring and tells you that you must be an 8 cow wife because of your "8 carat ring"....and sometimes that only happens in Utah and sometimes the same man offers to take a picture of you and your man in front of the temple and he cuts your body in half even though you politely keep asking him to take it far away and now your memories of that night resemble having half a body....and being blurry.

Sometimes

Sometimes your man is holding your hand in the car and he goes "take a picture of our hands and say something like "I miss riding in Lyles car and holding his hand" and sometimes you realize you've created a monster (because he knows you blog about everything). Sometimes you tell your niece to put her hands on her hips to take a picture and you have to tell her about three times until she gets it. There we go!

Sometimes you and your man get approved for a really good house and you get so excited even though you have yet to find a house. AH. Sometimes you get your engagement pictures back and the ones where the photographer told you to get in a tree don't turn out as planned and sometimes your sister says they look like they could be on the cover of a harlequin romance novel...uh. Sometimes you get a zip file of your engagements and the file says Caitlin and Travis and you're really confused and you open them and sometimes its actually Caitlin and **Lyle...and sometimes your sister thinks it annoying but then funny and decides to call him that. Sometimes there are so many new great country songs and this one reminds you of your man because he's the soft sweet side in this relationship and not to mention my best side. I just hope that i'm hot enough to get rid of his tickets, like in this video ;)

Sometimes your family stops to help two turtles across the road...in one day. And sometimes you realize that's probably not normal...but you are grateful that everyone loves to help. Sometimes your fiancé sings to you until you fall asleep and his song of choice? God must have spent a little more time on you. Sometimes your man is so hard working that he wins you both a trip to Cancun and he and his team are this close to winning a trip to Pirates Cove too! Sometimes you are so proud of the man that he is. Sometimes you love being at home because you overhear conversations like this:

CJ: "miss your horse is going way to fast!"

Cass: panicking "don't sue me!!"

Sometimes Meghan is really good at cheering up her children haha. Sometimes your man surprises you with TAYLOR SWIFT TICKETS. (insert freak-out) because if you knew just how much i love her and how bad I've wanted to see her for the past three years you'd get it. But sometimes around here she sells out so fast. Sometimes he really needs to stop sending you flowers and surprises in the mail like your every episode of your favorite show! Sometimes you really need to stop talking and praising him but you just cant. Sometimes you think you may change your mind about the whole waiting 2-3 years to have babies when your fiancé sends you pictures like this and your heart seriously melts because he will be the best daddy ever. And sometimes you want little babies just like him.

and then sometimes your niece is very confused about this picture and she doesn't know whose baby that is and when you ask her she looks at you all confused and keeps looking at your belly like she missed something. Sometimes you miss your beautiful room mates wedding in July and you check her facebook everyday for pictures because you know she just looked so beautiful! Congrats K&J! I cant wait to see your new place in three weeks! Love you both.Sometimes this is a weak sometimes post but you gotta ease back into the blogging scene.
