Can I just say the weather in Utah has been perfect lately?! Last weekend Lyle and I took a long weekend getaway to St.George/Vegas. Partially because he wanted one more sale (and seriously as soon as he got one we went to play) but mainly because it was the last relaxing weekend until probably September...Anyway we laid out (and i got tan!), saw Lyles first Cirque show, played arcade games, FINALLY saw Divergent, and ate at the Sugar Factory which, if you have a sweet tooth you must go! We got an amazing smore fondue and I about died. The Cirque show we saw was definitely not my favorite...I've seen O in Orlando (my favorite), Zarkana in New York and now Mystere. It was a little weirder than I remember the others being but Lyle seemed to really like it. I like to describe Cirque shows at weird circuses for adults that don't make sense...but they are seriously so cool! We also discovered the best cupcake place in all the land. 25 and Main in St. George. I didn't even get a picture because it was in my mouth as soon as she handed it over. It is a Strawberry Shortcake flavor, a special in April and I PROMISE you it is absolute perfection. I loved getting away with Lyle and our little Murphy! But anyway, back to the story at hand I wore this outfit but took no pictures! Which is a shock...
I love it. Franchesca's was on point this season. I loved everything and this skirt was at the top of my list. I love the print and the bright color. I seriously have only gotten new skirts or dresses so I guess I don't plan on wearing pants or anything else this season but whatever...I paired it with another one of my favorite things, a bodysuit. This gem is from H&M. I love bodysuits SO much. No bunching, when you bend over nothing hangs out and they are comfy. If you are looking for some plain colors (which pair perfectly with maxi skirts, American Apparel has lots of variety)...just btw. Mixing patterns is really in right now too...I'm trying to be more brave with it but this is a good start. I love stripes although sometimes they aren't the most flattering thing in the world but good posture helps with that. Which btw, in some of these pictures I am slacking in...Anyway I am SO excited for all the Spring/Summer clothing- wearing bright colors and having it be socially acceptable is my favorite part about the Fashions, whats yours?!
