Laid Back Boston Style

We just got back Monday from our California roadtrip. We got on a juice fast (since we stuffed our faces), watched Halloween movies, got locked out of our home one morning and Lyle blew out two tires/rims on his car when someone left a cement block in the road. Needless to say this week (besides the Halloween movies) hasn't been my favorite. We've been cleaning, doing more packing, visiting family and planning for our next trip. I've been wanting to do a giveaway and I will by the end of this year, but its just been a little crazy over here.

I have had my eye on the black Toga Pulla bootie for months now. However I just couldn't pull the trigger at $440 but these are almost identical and they fit and feel perfect. $39.90 > $440. Also, thanks to google you can always find 10% off of Forever 21. These are my favorite knock off purchase ever. Onto this coat for $29. Love Culture has the cutest stuff and they are always having sales. I buy lots from them and right now they have 25% off all outerwear. It's getting chilly here so i've been bringing out all my coats and this is my go to chill outfit. We are heading to Spring and Summer weather in TWO DAYS. First off, I am freaking out and Second off, I am trying to get as much use out of these babies as I can. Happy Sunday babes, I'm off to spend some time with the family.
It's all in the details

Mountain Lovin

Here's me being so basic but, I freaking love Fall. My stateside dream trip is road tripping through New England area and seeing all the leaves, cute little homes and stopping for cider and donuts. I love layering. This is actually two dresses, one on top of another because it was too short. I've been stocking up on boots, boot socks and cardigans for months now. Majority of this outfit is from Forever 21 because they have the cheapest cutest sweaters and clothing in general honestly. Also, let me talk about these booties, I LOVE THEM. Lyle commented that he didn't know how I wear "heels like this" but they are the most comfortable things ever. They are a little different than something I would normally wear but I am so happy with this buy.
the picture below makes me laugh

Small Town Saturday Night

On our way back from Houston we stopped at the cutest places. After our weekend in Austin (coming to the blog soon) we headed on to the cutest little town of Fredericksburg, TX. Right before we got to the main street we found this stop with pumpkins, flowers and treats so we stopped to snap a couple pictures. I absolutely love road tripping and seeing new places and deciding which ones we could make a life in. Even though it was small, Fredericksburg was one of my favorites! The main street was straight out of a movie filled with candy shops, home decor stores and random odds and ends. If you saw my snapchat story, you saw Lyle in heaven sampling all the difference sauces and jams from one our favorite store ha. I am definitely enjoying this little break from our travels though, we can't wait to take on California tomorrow.
P.S. i put a grainy filter on these photos.

Anthro Inspired

I absolutely love finding Anthropologie inspired pieces at places that are not Anthropologie. Every now and then I give in because they seriously have the cutest stuff but who can afford 90% of their stuff. No one...unless its a killer sale. This shirt reminds me a lot of something I would see there. I love the bell sleeves and boho feel. This is one of the many amazing pieces I scored from Forever 21 for seriously 1/4 of the price. I listed a couple other amazing finds below! I had two other perfect picks but they already sold out! So when you see a great find assume everyone else did too because the good stuff goes fast.

A lot of people tell me they get overwhelmed shopping at Forever 21 and so do I so I online shop. But if that overwhelms you too just go to the new arrivals and scan those. There are less pages for you to deal with or you could just use the search bar for whatever you are looking for. If you're looking for something good, its worth it. Also, how pretty is my neighborhood?! I have loved this weather and all the beautiful blossoms! Not to mention that I have gotten to lay out multiple times this week! TGIF guys. Well in 17 minutes for us Utah people.
Necklace: Francescas
Hat: Brickyard Buffalo
Sandals: Just Fab (I will do a post on these babies later)
Some other pieces that are giving me major Anthro vibes...
A Line Midi $15?!
Oh and major shoutout to Kylie for taking these amazing pictures. You're the best girl!

Floral & Asos

Lyle is back from California! Does it feel like I am always talking about him coming and going?! It seems that way at least...but its starting to get into his busy season and I am soaking up every second I can with this boy. We have been SO blessed with the weather this Winter, meaning, we didn't really have a Winter. This past week was a little colder (than it has been) so instead of wearing my cute bow wedges  with this dress, I decided to do an edgier look with these amazing Jeffrey Campbell look alikes, a hat and a black leather jacket. I can't wait to wear this all Summer long! Don't be surprised if I wear lots of floral.

But anyway, I got this baby on sale like pretty much everything I get. I grabbed some other sales dresses from Asos and I'm so excited to wear all of them. If you're looking for cute dresses or anything floral, Asos is your place. Most people know about Asos, especially if you're from Utah because they have a great selection of modest dresses. I've got another European store for ya- Oliver Bonas. It's a well kept secret and I found out about it when we were in London and I loved everything I tried on. They have some cute modest stuff and I bought a couple midi dresses for under $25! One was $17. Until midnight tonight they have an extra 20% off sale! WOO. Happy Sunday everyone!
Details: Wedge booties- Forever 21
Dress: Asos (if they don't have your size keep checking! They bring back stuff a lot)
*Also, if you're a student sign up for Unidays and get 10% off
Hat: lots of options at Forever 21(they get new stuff all the time)
Purse:DailyLook

Suit Up

I love every swimsuit that is out this season. I am not even exaggerating, I have an addiction. I thought I would share where I am finding such cute stuff for all of you! I bet I have at least one place you didn't think to look!
I just ordered this for around $30! You seriously can't beat their prices. They have cute one pieces, bikinis and high waisted. Not to mention I got a really cute coverup from their as well.
This is the next one I have my eye on! I loveee their stuff. I just ordered the most perfect floral sale dresses from them too and I can't wait to wear them. If you are subscribed they send out great sale coupons every now and then or if you're a student you can be subscibed to UNIDAYS for a discount! That's what I use for Asos and Modcloth! I love everything from this store.
I got so many compliments on this baby! I love it and the skirt is removable too! If you're local to Provo I originally found this at Calledtosurf (they have such cute suits too & another store at the riverwoods has only swim) and I waited and waited and then it was gone. But good news I found it online and I used my Unidays discount and it was perfect.
Amazon
Amazon has the absolute cheapest suits. Sometimes I have gotten ones that fit a little odd but for the price you can't beat trying because I have found a lot of cute ones too! Every piece from above is from amazon- each was under $20! If you saw my Hawaii post a lot of those were from Amazon too! They even have cute knock off triangl suits and for less than $30 I just gotta try 'em.
I had to. But this suit is only $43. I own it and let me just say it is absolutely perfect. It's SO flattering. For some reason I have no pictures in it but they have it in another color too! I love all of Victorias stuff but this was such a good deal I just had to share!
This picture doesn't even do this suit justice. Oh man. Or other department stores such as my favorite, Nordstrom have really cute stuff.
For anyone looking for modest suits this is your place. They have all sorts of colors and patterns and styles and they are so cute! This is my favorite style top and actually prob one of my favorite swims she has so don't be surprised if you see me wearing it or like 10 others that she makes.
If you haven't noticed yet I love all the fruit patterns. I think that they, along with floral and bright swim are perfect for Summer! I got these bottoms and not the top- so I could instead wear a red top with it just for a pop of pattern. I like to be open and just buy a bunch of pieces I can intermix. Aerie has some really cute stuff this year!

You can also find really cute stuff at Urban Outfitters, TARGET (i love target), Etsy, or if you have money places like anthro or you can design your own at Kiniswimwear. <---I already designed my suit and have it saved on my phone haha for when I decide I can spend over $200 on a suit (I just can't).
