Happy Monday

Not much to say today except one. I really seem to like pink and never noticed and two. i love glitter and bling and have always noticed. I got this skirt on SALE as I do with pretty much everything I own and I love it. These heels are a Black Friday steal and I have a funny story. So I wore these church one time when I was visiting my home ward and a conversation like this occurred.

Woman:"those are some shoes!"
Me: "I got these for only $11!" said proudly
Her response: "I can see why"

Well, this is a perfect example of how everyone has different tastes. I took no offense to it and laughed because I like what I like and I guess sometimes I like overly blinged out things. But on a positive note I wore this outfit this past summer when I was home and my nieces followed me around all day telling me how beautiful I was and how much they loved my outfit because I looked like a princess....and as long as I please some little babes then thats all that matters, right? But if I might add Kate Spade has a beautiful new line of glitter heels out and they are just perfect.

Brickyard Buffalo

It's been a couple of hectic days preparing for my trip to Maryland but it is so worth it now that I am home and with my family. I haven't seen them in over 7 months and surprising all of them has been so fun! Tomorrow night we are headed down to Florida where the real fun begins and I can't wait to show you all my outfits and all the fun. We wish Lyle could get some time of work but since Summer is his busy time everyone understands. But anyway enough about what's been going on lately...I am so happy I got this vest. I tend to miss out on all the other things I fall in love with off of Brickyard Buffalo and I always get sad when they are gone. I love all their stuff and how REASONABLE their prices are. This vest was only $24.50 and I hadn't seen anything like it before. They are an online store that has cute accessories, baby stuff, home decor, clothing...basically everything. There's a couple more of these vests left but don't let that deter you, they randomly get stuff back in! Although a tip, they sell out pretty fast and sometimes they don't get stuff back in...which makes me like their stuff even more. Brickyards stuff is pretty in demand and not everyone is wearing the same thing. Shipping takes a little bit longer so don't worry if it takes 1-2 weeks because shipping is around $2 and my items have been great quality. Also I am not sponsored by them and these opinions are completely my own in case you were wondering. I really just love places where I can find great deals and love to share them with you all!

The vest has a lot of colors in it so I decided to go bold with adding a lot of color into the outfit. It may be too much for some of you but it would look equally as cute with jeans and a plain colored tee, a simple striped shirt or I bet a polka dot shirt might be fun too! I love floral by the way. There's something so feminine and girly about it even though its denim. Mine fit true to size as have the other items I have ordered. Oh and let me comment on these sandals real quick. I wear them so much that they are starting to get scuffed up and discolored. That's how much I love these designer duds from T.J. Maxx. Well I have lots to do for my trip tomorrow, thanks for stopping by!
It's all in the details:
Vest: Brickyard Buffalo

All J.Crew All The Time

I love classic pieces and maybe that's why I love J.Crew and J. Crew Factory so much. You may spend a little more on the pieces but they don't really go out of style. I love the quality of the materials as well, they last forever. Let me add I seriously only go to J.Crew when they have their amazing sales, these pieces were all 50% off! This outfit is kind of preppy but I love it. This white oxford is one of my favorite pieces because you can use it as a layering piece and basically wear it with anything and have tons of different looks.

This vest is the newest gift from my very amazing and attentive husband! I have constantly been watching one at all times on Ebay but never asked for one or thought of purchasing one but he surprised me and bid on it without me knowing since he was gone for so long. I love it and have lusted after it for so long! I have tried it on with so many things and it is seriously perfect. Just FYI they run a little bit big so if you're a small you'd probably need an extra small and so on. Its so soft and very comfy! This skirt is so comfy and has an elastic band so you can tuck your shirt into which ives you a couple different looks as well. The bright green is perfect for spring and summer but could easily be paired with tights and a sweater for winter weather. Thats another reason I LOVE J.Crew, you can wear so many of their pieces all year round. I am so ready for ready for Spring guys and I have started picking out things that have bright colors and patterns! If you all subscribe to their emails you will find out about their amazing deals and thats when you can snag what you like- just for those who think its out of your budget, because it can be affordable! I cant wait for next week when I get to post all my Hawaii outfits!
Herringbone vest: J.Crew originally- now available on Ebay (just type it in and your size) Skirt: J.Crew Factory in 3 colors White Oxford: J.Crew Factory have it at J.Crew as well Statement Necklace: similar here mine is silver not gold Sparkly Flats: old from Aeropostale? similar here

I am embracing these random summer type days we are getting and cant wait until they are an everyday kinda thing. Thanks for stopping by! Oh and also ignore the gross bruises on my knees from snowboarding...

Oh how i love J.Crew

I LOVE J. Crew & J. Crew Factory. Okay now that we understand that, I had to have this skirt. First off, its modest. How often do I find cute modest skirts?! Okay well living in Utah makes it a little bit easier I'll be honest...but I found this baby at J. Crew Factory (the outlet version of J.Crew). Anyway they had this length in a pretty coral color and two other adorable prints as well. I showed some will power though and walked away with only this one. I wish this was around for my wedding though cause we all know how I feel about mint... It's perfect for church, date night or fancy occasions like weddings. It fit like a gem too! I put it on and felt like I weighed nothing-which is one of the best feelings might I add. So in love. The black sling backs are actually from homecoming my junior year! I haven't worn them since though because then I wore them to a church dance and a boy told me I was gonna pop all the balloons and I never wore them again...until I grew up and realized I would never put any balloons in danger because I am not a clown so I am never around balloons anyway. Plus they are way cuter than I remember them being...but back to the outfit...I wish I could remember where this top is from too, but I cant. Some little boutique or something? I had to wear a tank under it too because obv its see through. I am so in love with this color combo guys! Such an easy skirt to transition from Winter to Spring depending on what you pair it with.
Skirt: J.Crew Factory Necklace: J. Crew Factory sold in multiple colors-it comes & goes Top: old but similar here - i actually like this top better than mine! Black Sling backs: Nine West old similar here or here Earrings: Icing! They have them in gold or silver and I get asked a 100 times a day where they are from. I wear them every single day, they are my go to earrings. They are so sparkly and eye catching and they are like $8-$11 so a steal.
Let me apologize for these pictures haha, uh well you see I couldn't get over the fence in this outfit...so it was pretty funny and Lyle kept making jokes and then had to pull me through and thankfully there are no pictures of this but anyway....lets hope for higher quality pictures next time...
P.S right now J. Crew Factory has 40%-60% off EVERYTHING in stores or online. If its out of your budget but you love their stuff subscribe to their email list and you get tons of great coupons!! Lyle teases me about the hundreds of store emails I get but I don't pay full price for anything! So it pays off. Also if you are a teacher you get a discount if you show your I.D. I don't know if its at the Factory as well because well I'm not a teacher...but I think it may be. Also randomly the stores have amazing deals so if you can hold off sometimes they have like 20% off the whole store. Don't let the prices deter you, theres ways around them and the stuff is so cute!
